A meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE will be held on 20 October 2025 at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre, Adastra Park, Hassocks.

2. TO ACCEPT DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Disclosure by Councillors of personal and/or pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda and whether the Councillors regard their interest as prejudicial/pecuniary under the terms of the Code of Conduct.

3. MINUTES. To accept the Minutes of the meeting held on 29 September 2025 (previously circulated).

5.3 DM/25/2336 36 Dale Avenue Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8LP Atlantic Cedar – to reduce 3 lateral limbs by 2.5m.

5.4 DM/25/2454 33 Farnham Avenue Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8NR Variation of condition no 2 relating to planning application DM/25/0241 – to allow for design changes to garage roof.

5.5 DM/25/2410 9 The Crescent Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8RB Replacement of two windows to side elevation.

5.9 DM/25/2534 7 Downs View Road Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8HJ Roof conversion with rear facing hip to gable roof and side dormers to both sides and front rooflights. (LDC).

5.10 DM/25/2557 Adjacent To 9 Parkside Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8BL Sycamore Tree (T1) – Reduce by approx 1.5 metres.

5.11 DM/25/2563 Thatchetts 76 Keymer Road Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8QP (T1) Sweet Chestnut – Coppice to approximately 2m to live growth. (T2) Oak – Remove lowest secondary branch over car park area back to primary limb and reduce limb closest to house back to primary stem, approximately 3-4m.

5.12 41 The Quadrant Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8BS T1 – Oak – Reduce crown by 2m due to excessive shading.

Minutes of the PLANNING COMMITTEE Meeting held on Monday 20^th October 2025 at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre, Adastra Park, Hassocks

Attendees: Parish Councillors: Cllr Lesley Cruickshank-Robb, Cllr Bob Brewer, Cllr Kristian Berggreen, Cllr Bill Hatton, Cllr Maria Angelaki-King. Cllr Peter Reime.

In Attendance: Deputy Clerk – Helen Valler.

P25/66 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE. There were no apologies for absence. Absent without apologies – Cllr Don McBeth.

P25/67 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. The committee declared an interest in item 5.1

P25/68 MINUTES. It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on
29^th September 2025 be signed by the Chair as a true and accurate record of the meeting.
