Adastra Park

Adastra Park in Hassocks provides a wonderful open space with facilities which is used by residents in general and by a number of organisations on a more formal basis.

This section provides a guide to the recreational facilities available in Adastra Park and in the locality.

Tennis

Hassocks Parish Council has three tennis courts in Adastra Park which are available for public booking.

The tennis courts can be booked through the Hassocks Pet Centre, which is open Monday to Sunday, 8.30am – 8.30pm, telephone number 01273 842392.

The charges per hour are £7 per hour per court for adults and £3.50 per hour for juniors (under 17).

Please note that there is a £5 key deposit charge which is refunded when the key is returned.

Adastra Tennis Club also use the Courts – full details and how to join are on their website.

Bowls

There is a bowling green and pavilion within Adastra Park. This is currently used by the Adastra Bowling Club. Full details and how to join are on their website.

The pavilion includes ladies and gents changing rooms, a kitchen for light refreshments and disabled access and facilities.

Football

Keymer & Hassocks Football Club and Hassocks Junior Football Club (part of Hassocks Football Club) use Adastra Park football pitches. Full details and how to join are on their  website.

Adult Fitness

Hassocks Parish Council has installed adult fitness equipment in Adastra Park. This is free to use but please note and respect the age related warnings.
