A meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE will be held on 1 September 2026 at 7.30pm in the Green Room, Adastra Hall, Adastra Park, Hassocks.

2. TO ACCEPT DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Disclosure by Councillors of personal and/or pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda and whether the Councillors regard their interest as prejudicial/pecuniary under the terms of the Code of Conduct.

3. MINUTES. To accept the Minutes of the meeting held on 10 August 2026 (previously circulated).

5.4 DM/26/1805 5 Clayton Park Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8JQ Retrospective application for the erection of 2 pergolas and a wooden shed in rear garden.

5.5 DM/26/1976 5 Chancellors Park Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8EY Part demolition of rear single storey extension and proposed new single storey kitchen extension with new tiered garden and patio to rear.

7. MID SUSSEX DISTRICT COUNCIL CONSULTATION – MAIN MODIFICATIONS: The consultation on the modifications to the draft District Plan runs to 7^th September. There are two additional sites proposed within Hassocks Parish. Members are asked to consider our draft response and agree for submission to MSDC. (Appendix 1). Please click here to view Appendix 1.

8. URGENT MATTERS at the discretion of the Chairman for noting and/or inclusion on a future agenda.

9. Date of Next Meeting. Tuesday 21 September 2026.
