A meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE will be held on 21 September 2026 at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre, Adastra Park, Hassocks.

2. TO ACCEPT DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Disclosure by Councillors of personal and/or pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda and whether the Councillors regard their interest as prejudicial/pecuniary under the terms of the Code of Conduct.

3. MINUTES. To accept the Minutes of the meeting held on 1 September 2026 (previously circulated).

5.2 DM/26/0649 The Paddock London Road Hassocks West Sussex BN6 9NA Redevelopment of existing house to provide for 3 detached chalet height dwellings. (Amended Site Plan submitted 23.06.2026, AIA submitted 24.06.2026, PEA submitted 06.07.2026 and FRA submitted 27.08.2026).

5.3 DM/26/2134 The Meadows 4 The Crescent Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8RB T1 – Holm Oak : Raise crown to approx 4m. T2 – Lime : Reduce crown by 2m. T3 – Norway Maple : Reduce crown by 1m.

5.4 DM/26/2137 15 Stonepound Road Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8PN Proposed single storey extension to the rear, conversion of roof space with velux roof-lights. (LDC).

5.5 DM/26/1229 St Winifreds 44 Hurst Road Hassocks West Sussex BN6 9NL Variation of condition no 2 relating to planning application DM/24/2618 – to allow design changes (Amended plans received 02.09.2026).

5.6 DM/26/2231 8 The Crescent Hassocks West Sussex BN6 8RB G1 Macrocarpa – To laterally crown reduce 2 large Macrocarpa in front of house by up to 2.5m in height and by up to 2m near to the previous points to form more compact crowns.

ROAD CLOSURE APPLICATION The Committee is asked to consider the following road closure application: Keymer Road, Hassocks (Woodsland Road to Villa Adastra) on Friday 4th December 2026 between the hours of 1600 on 2000 for Light Up Hassocks to take place.
